TYLER PERRY'S - "GOOD PEEPLES"

Lover boy Wade battles to impress his in-laws to be with hilarious results

Tyler Perry produced movie re-tells the awkward story of meeting your intended in-laws for the first time.

In "Good Peeples", Craig Robinson plays the role of Wade Walker, a loveable underachiever who shows up unannounced at the home of his gorgeous girlfriend, Grace Peeples played by Kerry Washington  to ask for her hand in marriage. Our guileless lover boy has his work cut out for him as the upper class Peeples family are having their annual family reunion and he has to struggle to fit in order to win their acceptance. Expect funny man Robinson to make a jackass of himself in the process.

A really funny movie that the cast had a great time making and the chemistry is evident when you watch it. The actors reportedly had so much fun singing and goofing in between filming that Tyler Perry had to make sure that the piano on the set was locked during breaks.

Unfortunately for the film it's shackled into the box of being the black version of “Meet the Parents”. Originality is indeed not a strong point of this movie but it makes up for this fundamental flaw with the comic stylings and huge talent of its amazing cast.
